growing Baby Ruch!

Well, I guess its time I start one of these cute little blogs about the pregnancy, since not all my family is on facebook to read my daily comments. :)

Jon and I found out we were pregnant in Febuary. I didnt at all think we were pregnant, but Jon kept asking, "have you started your period yet?" I would say "no, its not time why do you ask." He replied, "I just have this feeling something really big is going to happen." So of course that freaked me out. I patiently waited for my period. It didnt show. But I never would have thought anything of it unless he made that comment. So when I was only a mere 6 days late, I decided to take a test. That morning in church, the topic was on parenting, and for some reason I nearly had a panic attack, so that was another sign. But I kept thinking, even if I take this test, it will show up negative because its too soon to tell even if I am pregnant. But nonetheless I bought 3 home pg tests, and when the first one came out positive, I immediately freaked out and nearly fell to the floor. I mean heck, Jon and I had only been married a month, not to mention, hadn't even been together a year. Talk about fast track. I was very scared and laid in bed all night with both eyes wide open. So did Jon. It was confirmed at the doc's office the next day and now here I am today 4 months pregnant.

I could lie, trying to be one of those cute pg women, and say how excited I am and how much I enjoy this process, but I can't do it. I actually wish, that in the years of hearing pg women talk, that just one of them would have warned me how hard pregnancy is. But all you hear about is the joy and the kicking, and the glow. Well let me tell you people, Im not glowing, that is simply grease covering my face. I have to use baby powder in my hair, cause throughout the day it just becomes so greasy.

Don't get me wrong, as unplanned as this was, we are both very excited about a baby, but the process of growing a baby is the hard part. So there you have it. Pregnancy is very hard.
