Saw Man and daddy playing the banjo!

Getting ready to go in the pool at the YMCA

Well, currently Sawyer and his daddy are sitting next to me on the couch while they watch Cash Cab (a trivia game show). Sawyer loves to sit in his daddy's lap and hang out. He is very content there. Jon recently bought a banjo so he has been playing music all over the house. Sawyer is very interested in watching his daddy play. I wonder if he will be musical like Jon. That would make us both very happy. Today we also went in the pool at the YMCA. Sawyer has been in the pool a few times, and every time he has done so good. I dont let him be in there too long, cause the water is a bit cold and after awhile his lips start to turn blue, so then we get out. :) But even with blue lips, he is still smiling having fun.
Jon and I had quite a day yesterday. Apparently we got food poisening 'cuz we both woke up at the exact same time in the middle of the night and started being sick. Let's just say both bathrooms were occupied all night long. It was miserable throughout the whole day. And little Saw Man did such a great job. When Jon and I couldnt even pay attention to him, he just happily kept himself busy in his swing, or bouncy seat. Then his Oma came over to play with him while JOn and I slept. It was a miserable day. But we are already feeling better and now spending family time on the couch. :)
Sawyer is getting so tall. He just had his 4 mos old check up..he weighed in at 15lbs and 12oz. He was in the 60th percentile for weight. He was 25 inches long, which put him in the 90th percentile for height. And lil man was only in the 20th percentile for head circumference. I guess he's got a little head...but he is still so perfect. :) He loves to suck his two middle fingers. Sometimes he even will put 3 or 4 fingers in his mouth at once, and I have even caught him trying to put his whole fist in his mouth before. Yesterday we also tried to give him a bite of rice cereal. He took it very well. He made a funny face at it, but he still ate it. We still plan on just feeding breast milk, but we thought we'd try to see how he took some rice cereal.
Welp, thats the update. Little Saw Man is doing wonderfully.
