Well it is Sept 28th. Everyone kept telling me all along that they were sure that I'd have Sawyer in september, but Im starting to doubt that notion. I am so miserable being pregnant that I am doing what needs to be done to move this pregnancy along, but I know at the end of the day, he is going to come when he wants to. But Im doing my walking regularly, even though my walking is like a snails pace with a penguin waddle. I went and got a reflexology massage at Gene Juarez on my feet. The massage therapist even said she was gonna do her best to make this baby come out. But that was 2 days ago. :( I even busted out my breast pump and figured out how to use it. Someone told me that using the breast pump stimulates your uterus to contract, so of course I tried that. Im not so motivated that I will try castor's oil though. I think all that would do is make me go poo a lot, and that isnt my goal. :) I know Libby your gonna read this post and get on my case about how I am only 38 1/2 weeks, and that I shouldnt be trying to get Sawyer to come out yet, ...but trust me he is ready. I can feel him ready in there. He just needs to come out. And I know there are women that tell me to keep him in there as long as I can, because once he comes out I will be exhausted and busy taking care of baby. But my response to that, is that I have not slept well for the past 2 weeks, because my back and legs hurt so bad. In my opinion, I would rather be tired from a crying baby, than be tired from physical discomfort and exhaustion. I am needing to go get a good workout in...because that is what makes me feel good mentally, and this penguin style walking is just not cutting it. So my prayer is that Sawyer comes tomorrow. Please please please Sawyer hurry up and come out and join us in the world.

35 1/2 weeks and exhausted!!!!
Welp, everyday is a countdown for me. If youre reading this, you are well aware of how hard pregnancy has been for me...not because I have had complications or anything...mainly just because I am a big baby. :)
So on friday I will be 36 weeks. I have now been told by a few people that once you hit 37 weeks you are safe to deliver. So I am praying with all my might that God lets me go a little early. Actually it would be pretty cool to deliver on Sept 24th which would be the start of week 38. Cause then Sawyer would have his bday the day after mine and the day before his Oma. I dont know what I am gonna do if I end up going 2 weeks late. UUUgggghhh. Im having a hard time believing I can even grow any bigger than I am now. I feel so uncomfortable and miserable. I wish I could stop working now and just rest at home all day everyday. But then reality sets in. Ok ok this post is probably just coming across as more whining. Jon and I got the car seats put in the car. I still have a few more things around the house to do which maybe I can get done today. Other than that, the official countdown is on. Please join me and send prayers up for a week 37 or 38 delivery. :) Love you all

I fall and I cant get up!!!!
Welp, around noon yesterday, I took a pretty good fall down the stairs. Not really sure what happend, if I slipped or what, it all happened so fast. But I pretty much tumbled down the entire 14 stairs. The fall was predominately on my back, it wasnt until about the last two steps that I sorta rolled onto my side, cause i was coming down so fast.
Once I hit the bottom, I just sat there and sobbed pretty hard. More than anything it just scared me. I didnt break anything or wasn't bleeding, but it spooked me pretty good. I mean who falls down stairs? I have never falled down stairs in my life....of course not until Im pregnant would something like this happen. So anyway, I felt fine, no damage seemed to have happened. So after I was done crying, I got up and went on my merry way.
My mom, who had gotten my message about what happened, called me a few hours later. Her response was, "did you call the Dr." I didnt think that I needed to being that there was no damage. Then of course she starts to rattle of all that might have happened, and that I need to call them, to see if I need to go in and have a stress test done on the baby or something. I sort of thought she was being a little paranoid and ridiculous. But I called the clinic reluctantly anyway. My Dr's nurse called me back about 2 hrs later and said that after any kind of accident or fall you need to go into the hospital and have the baby monitored for several reasons. I was actually pretty upset at this news, cause I didnt want to go into the hospital. In my mind, nothing was wrong. I even considered ignoring the nurse's direction to go in, cause i just thought there was no need for it. But then I thought, if something is wrong, and I don't go then I'm a horrible person. But all my selfish brain could think about was, "is insurance gonna cover this, how much is it gonna cost, and how long am i gonna have to be there cause I have to work tomorrow." So I went in and got admitted to the baby unit. They put me on the monitor, and sure enough, the fall had caused me to have some small contractions. So they had to put me on an IV and give me some medicine to stop the contractions. The medicine was horrible....it caused me to be extremely anxious, caused my heart to race and I felt like I was wiggin out big time. And I couldnt get up and walk around, I had to be on the machine the whole time, so it definitely wasn't a pleasant experience. They kept me until about 1 in the morning, after I kept whining, that I just wanted to go home. :) So they finally let me go, and said they would call me in the morning with the results of some test, that would tell me if the placenta was damaged in anyway.
So yes, of course, as always, mom was right, and Im glad I went in. Im just so mad at myself that I fell down the stairs. I mean how stupid.
