3 months old
Today Saw Man is 3 months old. Oh my goodness, my little baby is getting so big. Seriously, his arms and legs are too long for 3 months old clothes already. I have to go today to buy him some new onesies. Today he also hit a very exciting milestone....he rolled over. He was having his tummy time, and he rolled over. I was so excited. Unfortunately his daddy didnt get to see it, so we've been trying to get him to do it again, but he hasn't yet.
This past week Jon and I also took the train to Portland to see one of our favorite comedians...Ben Bailey (also known as the host of the tv show cash cab). We decided to go to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Our anniversary was on Jan 2nd, but we decided to celebrate it a little late so we could go to this show. It was an awesome train ride, that we both slept the whole 3 hours. We stayed in a Red Lion Hotel (my cousin works there so was able to get us a family discount). We jsut went for one night. We didnt even go out into the town at all, we mostly just went to get a break and sleep. We were so pathetic though, we layed in our hotel bed, each on our cell phones looking at pictures of Sawyer, and missing him. Oh jeez we have become "those" people. haha. The next day we even paid a little extra to get the earlier train home to return to our little sea saw. Sawyer stayed with his Oma and Opa and had so much fun. My mom learned quickly how often Sawyer blows out his pants, and how often you have to change his clothes.
Sawyer also got to spend some time with his cousin J.J. He and Libby came to visit from San Diego. We always love when they can come up for a visit. Brian gets home from deployment at the end of April so hopefully the next time all 3 of them can come.
Kevin just left again for Germany. So we will miss him again for a few weeks. We pray and hope he is safe while he is over there.

Sawyer playing!
On another note, I have to mention, the change that I have gone through as a person since being a mother. I have always been such a "Doer." Its hard for me to relax, sit still, not be accomplishing things, not working out, not cleaning, etc etc. Now that I have Sawyer, I have learned and accepted that I may only get 1 workout a week, or the dishes may not get done, or the poor doggies may not get a walk, and normally this would all drive me crazy...but I look at Sawyer and think "its ok if im a little pudgier than I once was, or my house isnt as clean, or Im not working as much and have to buy fewer latte's :). I mean dont get me wrong, I still have moments where its hard, but I can't imagine now my life without this little man. God is so big and so good. He knew what Sawyer would bring to my life, and Jon's. Jon is the most amazing father already. I love watching him with Sawyer. And Jon is so helpful and loving to me when I need a break. We are a good team. Ok ok I just thought Id be sappy for a minute. hehe.
We love and miss our Virginia family. I hope you keep updated through this. And we love to Skype with you. Cant wait for the whole family to meet our little man.
